Karen Lei Noland  loves to paint and capture the beautiful images of Hawaii on Canvas.  "Hawaii is such a great inspirational place for any artist...the colors are so vivid, and the ocean and mountains here, combined with the lush tropical vegetation, make it the perfect environment for creativity."

Karen graduated from college with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis on graphic design.  She has, over the years, grown into an accomplished artist and paints in many mediums including, oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel.  Karen's works have been collected by people from all around the globe as Maui is an international destination.

Karen, of Hawaiian ancestry, would like to preserve in her painting the majestic beauty of the Islands and their people. Karen is the owner of, and the artist in residence at, Kaukini Gallery in the remote and beautiful area of Kahakuloa, Maui.

Karen Lei Noland lives and paints in the Kahakuloa region of Maui.  Kahakuloa is the ideal place of inspiration for Karen's paintings. With its panoramic coastal views and mountainous ravines, it is truly magnificant.  Many of the images Karen paints are taken from her back yard...literally!

In Kaukini Gallery you will find Karen's original paintings and prints, as well as her children's book, Friends of the Menehunes.  Karen also has fine art giclee prints of her work available in the gallery, or for order either custom framed or unframed.  Original paintings can be purchased through the gallery, and Karen also works on commissioned paintings.
